1672 lived 28 families counting about 140 persons in Zweiflingen.1807 they amounted 222 , in 1891 216 inhabitants were counted. In Eichach lived 1672 16 families with aurond 80 persons, 1807 were totalled 136, in 1819 140 inhabitants. Friedrichsruhe counted these day approximately 50 to 60 persons, after the settling of 9 farmer families, 1807 they were 117 souls. Heiligenhaus had 1919 4 inhabitants, in Tiefensall 21 families with roughly 110 heads were resident in 1702. In 1807 131 persons were counted and 1819 138.

The population number achieved it’s peak in the year 1880 with 1106 persons, followed by a continious decline,which reached a low in 1939 with 796 inhabitants. During the second world war the borough had to mourn 49 men as well as 20 missing people. In the after-war-years the population increased temporarily (1950 1053 people) mainly by affiliation of displaced persons. They came particularily from Romania, Hungary and Czechoslovakia and mounted 27% of the residential habitants with 284 persons in 1950. As a result of migration occurred another population reduction until 1961. After fluctuation the the community hold 912 inhabitants on the 6th june 1961.
